New Notebooks

My notebooks arrived in the post today! I've had them printed for my end of year exhibition at college, and also to sell them! There quite small, A6, but very cute, perfect fit for your bag, or pocket! And they're printed on 100% recycled paper!

As you can see there are 5 different designs, the little woodland cabin, paint brushes, whale, love hearts, and strawbs!

Spring Photography

Spring, my favourite time of year. The wood in which i live, is carpeted with wild bluebells, so beautiful! And I luckily photographed them just before they started to go over... I used my dad's Nikon D300 with a 50mm lens. I've never used it properly before, so I'm really happy with the results!

Really liking the colour yellow at the minute. And these photographs are so lovely! I wish the weather was better here, and then spring can start! I'm currently trying to save for a nikon d3200.... So then i will be able to take lots of photographs like these! Would you recommend the nikon d3200?

For my most recent project at college, (final major project too!!) I am creating the brand identity for my myself! So business cards, website, social networking, badges, postcards, everything!! I've been working on my website for a while, i made it on cargo, which is a really great website builder, perfect for any artist/designer! Last day of February

Yesterday was the 28th February, the last day of the month, which means I have completed my February Watercolour Challenge!! And what a challenge it has been... But definitely a good one. I'm really pleased with all my little paintings, some were a bit rushed, but really so happy that i completed the challenge! Each painting symbolises my day, a little bit like a watercolour diary. February Water Colour Challenge!

I love using water-colour, with out a doubt my favourite medium. And for christmas i got a set of 45 Cotman water colours. The colours are incredible, so bright and lovely! So, starting today (1st February) i am going to paint a little something everyday for the whole month of february! And hopefully, if this month goes well, i will paint a watercolour painting everyday for march, april may etc etc...

Some great news to... The reason i haven't blogged in a while, is because i have been very busy with my portfolio and interviews, and i have had 2 interviews so far, Cardiff met and Bath spa universities, for graphic communication and i have conditional offers from both!!! So, happy! I have a few more interviews lined up as well, so wish me luck!
